I got all the classes I could have if I registered right at 8 though. LIN417 was already full. Boo.

I'm taking the Ovid class! Be still my heart! That's right Ovid owns all other Latin writers that he gets his own CLASS. <3 <3 <3
And Japanese with Boris! I'm excited.
Writing systems sounds awesome, and it's with my LIN teacher this semester. Yay. And the Learning and Instruction (LAI) class was one I've been eyeing for a while now, but I wanted to take it just for fun and at night. Then I found out it'd go towards my major! So I'll just party with the nighttime bit.
Sounds exciting! I can't wait.
In music news, I ordered Baby V.O.X's "Ride West" album. It's kinda bunk with the J.lo samples and stealing Tupac's stuff. But there's more songs by them and pictures! They looked really nice for that album too.
I got the last album from annyoung too. When I ordered it they took the page off of their site and so I was worried that they ran out, but it shipped so I'm getting it!
I really like Baby V.O.X. I had their 5th album which is great and overall perfect, but their 4th album (which Boris got me in China) is FANTASTIC as well. "올가미" (Orgami) is probably my favorite. That and "Patron" are the songs that have easily shot up past 100 plays on iTunes. (Which only a couple Momoe and Chiyo songs and "Stop Me if You Think that You've heard This One Before" by the Smiths have done.)
I just really want them to release a Best of album with their actual best songs. (not the ballad best of DR was going to release earlier this year) Because they insist on keeping their album OOP. Grr. And you'd expect them to rush out a CD because of Eunhye's rise in popularity thanks to Goong.
Baby V.O.X > all other Korean girl groups. Ha!
Oh and in recent news, I can romanize stuff a lot better than I did 2 years ago! I did this romanization of Momoe's "Sasayaka na Yokubou" in 30-45 minutes, when a song used to take me upwards of 2+ hours. Japanese is teaching me something! :D
Oh and "Boku dake no Madonna" is awesome. Kyoko Hasegawa is gorgeous and quite a nice actor.
