[And this chart isn't completely my music liking. For example, the computer I used to get most of these counts couldn't rip Aya Ueto's albums (I hate you copy protection), so she's not nearly as high as she really would be had I had access to "Binetsu" earlier. (because I wouldn't change the song then.)]
What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
The Smiths: Haha. "How Soon is Now". Oh whiny Morissey. How I love thee. <3
What is your favourite album by 2?
奥村チヨ: Uhh, I only have best of albums. But the guy who compiled the "Coquettish Bomb" one is a genius. All 2 discs/37 songs are fantastic. I can never grow tired of listening to it.
What is your favourite lyric that 1 has sung?
山口百恵: I'm not really good as actively listening to Japanese lyrics. (I've just recently heard lyrics and go the meaning nearly instantly.
HOWEVER, I just listened to "たそがれ祭り", and I love the way how that song ends: "私はとても幸福よ/ あなたの愛に包まれて/ やさしい時を待ってるの". Aww, I like simple <3 lyrics like that.
How many times have you seen 11 live?
ザ・ピーナッツ: Sure, thanks. Rub it in that they broke up before I was born.
What is your favorite song by 7?
並木路子: Ooh, "真珠の月". It's a lovely mid-tempo song. I love how her voice is here.
What is a good memory you have involving 20?
Evita cast: HAHA. My whole summer of 1999. All I watched was "Evita" for WEEKS on end. Awesome soundtrack. Thanks Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Is there a song by 3 that makes you sad?
Baby V.O.X: "I Want You Back" from their 7th album. Because it was with that song's AWESOMENESS that I realized that Baby V.O.X hadn't lost any steam on their album tracks, and it just makes me wonder how great an 8th album would've been. ;__;
What is your favorite lyric that 14 has sung?
Rihanna: She doesn't really have great lyrics. They just don't sound awkward and are awesome with her songs. But I like the way she sings "Sell Me Candy" and the overall lyrics involved in "Breakin' Dishes".
What is your favorite song by 19?
中森明菜: "サザン・ウインド"! It was early in her career, and I actually really prefer her late 80s work more, but that song is perfection.
How did you first get into 22?
Wink: Morning Musume's "W"'s cover album of famous Japanese duos. That led to people uploading the originals and me subsequently being obsessed with "淋しい熱帯魚". THE 80S ROCK BITCHES.
This was another stepping stone (after Momoe) into oldie Jpop. Now I can't get enough.
What was the first song you heard by 21?
Malice Mizer: Le ciel, single version! OMGOODNESS. 6 YEARS AGO. I love Malice Mizer.
What is your favorite song by 4?
早見優: "Tokio Express"! Yu has the most lovely voice in the 80s.
What is a good memory you have involving 13?
椎名林檎: Playing "サカナ" (my first song by her) in the car to my Mum while she drove me to school one day. I still remember how cool I felt when I found someone all funky and who I though she would like. (And she did! Yaaay.)
Is there a song by 23 that makes you sad?
鈴木あみ: "Reality" makes me really calm whenever I listen to it. And when she belts stuff out near the end I get chills. Not so much a sad feeling though.
What is your favorite album of 15?
배슬기: Haha, I've had to think about this a lot thanks to being on a Bae Seul Ki message boards. While both of her albums have REALLY good songs on them, I think her first album is better in an overall sense. But they boast my two favorite songs: 1st: 말괄량이 and 2nd: 다가와. She really needs another album this year too! Haha.
What is your favorite lyric that 9 has sung?
嵐: "You are my 서울 서울!". Haha, yay for Arashi touring in Korea and having that show up on the screen during "A.RA.SHI".
How many times have you seen 5 live?
The Supremes: Again, 0. ;__; However crazy she is, I seriously wouldn't mind seeing Diana Ross in concert.
What is your favorite album by 12?
이미자: I only have one best of album, (Which is FANTASTIC, BTW.) so I say that one. Though I have hunch that the ones on that specific best of album aren't all originally by her, as none of her well known songs are on it, and for at least 2 of the songs I've looked up on Google had other names next to them. But they're still popular, I would assume. They seem to be recorded back then, and they have the 60's-Korea sound, so I'm good. And "심술쟁이 초립동" is TOO good of a song to stop listening to just because she didn't sing it first.
On the album issue: SUPPOSEDLY in Korea all of the goodies of the 60s 70s and 80s are on vinyl. So I need to promptly go over there and find some albums by her and any other oldie I can get my hands on. That's right 70s Korea, I know you had some awesome songs!
What is a good memory you have involving 25?
SPEED: Being obssessed with "熱帯夜" when it was summer, and learning the meaning of the title. And of course belting out "my graduation" with the 姉 in the car. Good times. <3
What was the first song you heard by 18?
東京事変: Uh, I got Ringo's live DVD (before Tokyo Jihen released anything) where they all played together as a band. So does that count? If it does then Ringo's "Koufukuron" at the beginning of Electric Mole. If not then their debut "Gunjou Biyori" (which I'm sad to say I didn't like, nor do I like it that much now.)
What is your favorite song by 17?
B'z: あの娘は 太陽のKomachi Angel! YESSS. I just noticed that I really like the "Ai no mama ni... [blah blah blah]" too though. And LADY NAVIGATION. Just those 3 songs like they are on their best "Pleasure" album as one song was be good. <3
What is your favorite album by 24?
浜崎あゆみ: LOVEppears of course! Perfect album. Ayu at her best. Best songs ever put out by her.
How many of your top 25 have you seen live?
Um... none. x.x; I like OOOOLD FOREIGN music. What else do you expect?
yaaay. 재미있는 事 fuit. :P
