What does your ideal lifestyle look like 10 years from now?
I think I'll need to find an elderly millionaire to seduce to
I've had a looming "your last post was..." in my face for the past 25 weeks. But I'm really bad at keeping anything up. Anyway, in the past 25 weeks I've graduated from college with a BA in Linguistics and minors in Japanese in Latin. I've attended a 2 day Latin speaking workshop which was lovely but painful for the mind. I've read a couple books and found: I still love Jane Austen, with This Side of Paradise my love for F. Scott Fitzgerald wasn't unfounded but it semi-debunked that love with The Great Gatsby. And I've also been accepted to teach English in Korea for at least a year starting September 1st. I'm currently in the Visa process and it's harrowing.
I've decided that I don't like being graduated and want to stay in school for much, much longer. But I also don't think that many classics departments will accept a student with no Greek and not-so-good Latin grades. :(
I also can't really hear a difference between Madama Butterfly and most other operas. But it's not bad on the ears.
